Transcendental Idealism

Transcendental idealism gets mistaken or misread as just simply being Birklinism. Schleier-Macher says that the dingon zich of Kant which by the way the later German idealist began to identify with different things is what will means for him. The very structures of reality such as time space causality all these fundamental properties are also properties which he calls our a prior properties of the minds which we then impose upon reality and he believes that there is Something out there in reality the thing in itself.
