Tolkin's Words of Germanic Origin Starting With the Letter W

Tolkan worked on words of germanic origin starting with the letter w. He wrote six different versions of an entry dictionary entry for the word walrus. Later in life, after his works had come out, a fan wrote him a letter including a poem that the fan had tried to write in elfish. Tolkin translated the poem into english and noted all the errors. And he believed that beowulf needed to be read aloud.
