Geoengineering and Weather Modification

Tim Kruger is program manager at the Oxford geoengineering program. He says there's a wide range of different examples they fall into two categories. One is called stratospheric aerosol injection and this is the idea of injecting very small particles high into the atmosphere where they will act to reflect a proportion of the sun's light back into space. The other one is called marine cloud brightening which is an idea that if you can make clouds brighter, whiter, then they will reflect a larger proportion of sunlight back intospace.
