The Difference Between China's Education System and the United States' Education System
In 19 78, at the end of the cultural revolution in china, there were less than one million students in chinese universities. By dessert, the number was over forty million. China has gone, in a two decades span, from being half ores the size of the american system to being more than twice the size. It is a remarkable revolution in higher education that is going on in china to day with enormous strength. But access to the absolute best universities much, much more difficult. Chinese universities have put enormous effort into large scale financial aid for individuals but not quite enough so far as poor and rural students are concerned. So we share that problem of inequal alcipation
