How Long Do Clusters Last?
The bigger the star, the greater the gravitational pressure. That's why that first generation of stars only lasted a few hundred million years. An older cluster tends to have like, more yellow and red stars. Scientists are really surprised if they see a cluster that's like a billion years old because it's hard for these clusters to resist the tug of the rest of the galaxy.
