The Importance of Data Governance

Ben: I wish there was fish and chips a little closer to where I live. There's nothing nearby there so you know that's a relatively speaking difficult thing for me to get. Data has been very important in the technology industry for a very very long time but it really reached maturity after the subprime issues. So much so that financial services have really set a bar associated with some of the best practices. Which is not an easy always easy thing to do in the United States.
