The Difference Between Art and Writing

When you are a writer, you are always thinking about an audience. You're not writing so you can have a word document living on your computer. In the moment, the aller that I spend making a painting is 95% of what I love about it. If other people say they like it or don't like it, it's sort of meaningless. All art forms are different. And if you do those, you kind of learn to stay true to your vision and start to learn really good at doing them. It'll get better anyway.
