The Risks of Controlled Hyperventilation

If you're doing a breathing practice and it's causing tinnitus back off and stop, there are two, well three things that happen from controlled hyperventilation. The most common thing is that it can trigger an anxiety or panic attack. These are single digit percentage point of cases but when you get enough people doing it, it does happen. So my advice would be back off, change your practice. There are lots of different breathing exercises. Sometimes the extreme ones come with some risks that might not be worth it for you.
