Zoo world was set up for way back wind, but conservation aspect has been re-energised. Species survival plans were created to maintain these populations in an x c to environment. The scimitar horned oric is a great example of that - if they go extinct, you don't want to lose the species altogetherIf they get extirpated, in that case. We clearly don't view them as property because we're trying to return them to their native habitats. They've done a lot of genomic testing now and it's all good so far.
