Nuclear power has been in the mix for a while now. 99% of all nuclear power is generated without incident and with next to zero carbon emissions. Nuclear countries around the world, including canada, they know what they want to do with it. But their plan relies on communities volunteering to be the dumping ground for radioactive waste. Our senior producer, sarah larnuk, is from one of those communities. And as you'll hear in her home town of dryden, ontario, the search for a nuclear waste site is pitting community against community and neighbor against neighbor.
