I'll Have That Kale Salad, Please

I think kale was invented in 1976. I feel like kale was only invented sort of about 10 years ago. It was pretty much 2012 when it kicked off, 2011, 2012. And before that literally no one ate it. Mimi Sheraton is the first female restaurant critic at the New York Times. But she said she really regrets now making kale popular. In these days people serve it raw. They kind of roast it like I often have roasted kale,. which is quite burnt the way I cook anyway. Like kale crisps.
