Almost all of my ballet dancers fit some scale of hyper mobility, and they all have quite mobile knee caps. Unless they dislocate them, then they're not a problem. Usually, when the knee cap dislocates though, that means you've torn the key ligament called the medial ptelephemeral ligament. And so got to get pickin better. Got a pickum better. What about in ballet? Do people with hyper mobility tend to be the ones who succeed in ballet, or does it happen overtime? So i don't think there's a correlation between hyper mobility and alet successa ballet success is a magical interaction between artistry and physical ability.
