What Is the Nature of Church Authority?

I think there's a lot of confusion out there to day. I don't mean my congregation particularly, but just more broadly within the churches here in america anyway. What we're trying to do is establish a biblical basis for understanding the nature of church authority. And when you kind of go to one of those two extremes, you end up falling into terrible practical traps that affect people's lives on their walk with the lord and all that.
