The Journey of a Syrian Refugee
Almost seven million Syrians are estimated to have fled their country. Ali from Iran and Beshwa from Iraq, both now safe and living in the UK. Salma migrated in her mother's footsteps. Alkumites is from Raqqa. He's now based in Gothenburg, Sweden as an artist. The main reason we went was also the fate worse than death in that case of being raped and kidnapped and tortured.
