Unifying Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity

This chapter explores the challenge of merging quantum mechanics and general relativity, the two biggest scientific questions in physics. It discusses the difficulties in reconciling wave equations and a dynamic space-time, and introduces leading theories like string theory and loop quantum gravity. The chapter also introduces a new theory called post quantum theory of classical gravity, which predicts a breakdown in predictability mediated by space-time itself.
