Spotify recently launched a backstage, which is the developer portal of that Spotify basically open source. It's claimed to be like a tool that you can use to basically build a platform, right for developers. Backstage brings with its own set of opinions and was designed in a way that it's meant to be very extendable and very plagable. And I would argue that it was a sign for a very specific type of organization and model of organization that we clearly didn't have," he says.
