Ali: We're worried this could be a malignancy that could be driving this hyper-quagible state but we still need to decide how do we balance the urgency of making a diagnosis and treating his DVTs and PEs. So does the biopsy need to happen now? Ali: In general with suspected cancer there are two main tasks. One is figuring out the best site to biopsy and the other is determining the urgency. Determining urgency is about whether it could go from curable to incurable.
