The Danube Delta - A Time of Change
In the period between about 4,200 BC and 4,000 BC, we can start to see some archaeological evidence of migration from the steppe. A new style of burial started to show up in the Danube delta region. Some 600 tell settlements in the lower Danube and eastern Bulgaria were abandoned in this period.
