Are We Really Sane? Or Is It Just Physiology?
Are we really sane? Or do we want to say that addiction to something like cigarettes is precisely on the same continuum as addiction to smart phones, or thinking, or shopping, or gambling? I sense that many people will balk at that definition. Is there a bio chemistry that holds people hostage in a way that behavior addictions don't quite? Or is it really just simply narrow physiology? And so i think that's where the playing field gets levelled.
