Gates of Fire was published by Simon & Schuster at the end of 2017. The book is about a group of Barton Warriors and their quest to stop an invading alien force from taking over San Francisco. "There really was, I think, and I don't know that there is anything like the San Sea as it stands," says author Michael Connelly.
