Breathing is very powerful Mike you know over the years I've met people as a result of hyperventilation exercises. Chronic hyperventilation an individual with an increased chemo sensitivity to carbon dioxide they have a reduced buffering capacity so basically their kidneys have dumped by carbonate and their body has got used then to typically lower blood carbon dioxide now it's not such a black and white field though like if you look at individuals who have the symptoms of chronic hyperventilation syndrome they don't always have low CO2 What seems to be one of the cases is if you were to ask these individuals to hyperventilation for between one to three minutes the individuals with poorer breathing during the hypervent
