Jimena: I would color myself as someone who is probably long-term bullish, short-term skeptical on accounts to accounts payments. She says she thinks fundamentally, it will be more disruptive to debit flows than to credit flows. Jimena: Part of the reason that banks, issuers, and networks are able to charge such high interchange fees and take a tax on every transaction is because they help manage chargebacks,. They help manage fraud, and they help manage essentially facilitating trust between two entities which may or may not ever interact again.
