If you make a decision for Jesus Christ, some people are going to leave you alone. And they're doing you a favor. They have literally chosen their status over Christ. So what happens when you don't want to let it go is you get this funky hybrid of Christ and your culture. It's not compelling to anybody else around you because they can't even tell the difference. We wind up in that place in that space because we're afraid of being alone.
