The Relationship Between Astrology and the Birth of Christ
The position of the stars and the signs of the zodiac in the sky at h different times of year changes slightly over time. Around the time of christ, more or less, depending on exactly how you divide up the sky, the rising of the spring equinox, sun moved into the sign of pises. Augustine saw astrology as a kind of threat, or possible rival, to christian beliefs. And he argued that it more or less contradicted the cor beliefs of monotheism,. The idea that there is one god who determines all events in the universe.
