"i don't actually think about my book as auto fiction. Everybody thinks at different ways," she says. "I just prefer, but much of the art that i love is closer to the real world." She's not constantly having like a isolated, very explicit trumma flash back where you re live in sequential order. It works in these kind of oblique ways,. And a lot of times you can only see it with the benefit of hindsight.
