How Has Your Work Life Changed in the Last Year or So?
I am a science writer. I started off with a degree in natural sciences from Cambridge. My first job was working at British Airways, the airline, doing operational research. In some ways it was better because frankly, I void a three-hour round-trip commute to get to the university and instead of that, I can just come down five minutes before and get started. Were you always passionate about communicating science to people, or did you have to learn it? I think it was definitely learning it. It's been quite difficult for everybody, of course, but again, things do seem to be normalising a little bit now.
