The History of Skeletal Surgery in the Inca Empire
An inka tunic or unku was found in a cemetery in Chile. These were formal garments that were made according to standards set by the Inca Empire. They followed those standards but they also incorporated techniques and imagery representing their own local culture. We will close out today's episode with some finds that involve skulls and bones starting with two different skull surgeries.
