Fatbear Week

A couple of park rangers at Katmai decided to throw up a couple of photos of the bears on Facebook and let the public vote which one was fattest. The first year they got something like 1700 votes total, last year they got 800,000 and they're hoping it'll be over a million this year. One woman I talked to changed her license plate recently to love Otis and Otis is a four time champion of fat bear week.
