Investing in a Diversified Portfolio
The essence of a diversified portfolio is that they won't all do the same thing at the same time. If you work hard enough, i think you can find situations where there's more upside than downside. I call this a symmetry. And if you want to try for good results without totally exposing yourself to bad results, you can stress these symmetries.
