Not everything is perfect, but you can't let the perfect become the enemy of the good if you want to get things done. i've noticed that aquinas is commonly misrepresented, even in mediaeval scholarship. I spot em all the time in fields that i have an expertese in. Even professional scholars writing stuff. It's like, oh, you should know better than that.
