The Importance of Being Prepared for the Storm

It's just hard to imagine spending 26 days on one face. We knew where we were based on our observations of it from when we were down below. And we thought that we had it in the bag. There was a steep about 60 meter head wall right behind this huge mound of snow. So every day, two people would push the route leading and the other two would stay behind and chew more up the fixed roast with heavy loads. That day, Jeff and I were the work dogs and Michael and George were leaving in the fine. But they got to that point. They didn't need to. It's like, those are just not the sorts of things that you do nowadays, because
