The Importance of Chimps in Hollywood

Chimps are regularly used as body doubles for actors. Often they're used as replacements for children because obviously they're quite small or small old men. Martin Scorsese will employ a chimp to replace him in the director's chair. Are those scenes usually obvious? Chaos. They try to because the chimp union is quite strong in Hollywood now. So if they were to try and edit that out, then there would be trouble.
