As a vinyasa yoga teacher, I don't go fast. A lot of times it's not that there isn't value to going fast. As you control your body by slowly transiting it through poses and like gravitational compromise,. That is a kind of stress that is going to build concentric and eccentric strength. But if I'm just kind of like firing my body and using momentum instead of control in the transitions, then I'm not going to be building nearly as much concentric or eccentric strength.
