The Problem With Soul

For most speakers of greek, the word suhe would have meant something more like saul hic isho. The problem with soul, of course, in english is that we don't really have a contemporary use for soul. We can still use old expressions like keeping body and soul together. But in everyday life, soul has really vanished.
