What Is Reality Like for a Tick or for a Blind Bat?
David Wheeler: The idea that every creature has its own Unveld was originally described in 1909 by a biologist. He says we all essentially assume that we're seeing all of reality, even though we know now that we are seeing just a tiny, tiny fraction of it. Wheeler: My interest is in building new ways of getting information in. So we might actually be able to build new qualia and understand what that is like.
