The Status Quo Is Prejudiced, Right?
In November 2016, Seattle voters approved an expansion of their light rail system. Six years later, we're in November 2022 as we record this, work has not yet begun. Hundreds of millions of dollars have already been spent on this project to expand Seattle's light rail and not a single shovel has hit the ground. Their current timeline says that the actual final environmental impact statement will probably be done sometime in 2023. That is ridiculous. And we've got to do something to change it.
