How to Be an Editor, This Is Tax, Right?

In Ireland, all the trees were basically destroyed to create English navies, and then to grow sheep. So we should have trees, right? Well, they planted Douglas fir trees in straight lines, only dug fir trees. They're tree plantations. And you know, maybe that's better than just flat moorland, but it's incredibly not diverse. It doesn't support the local wildlife, and it doesn't even support the traditional lifestyles that people had there. If you are a policymaker, and your approach is not to co-create with the already existing environment or community in a specific environment, instead to superimpose a sweeping vision, it's actually deeply tyrannical.
