J Monahan is the hypocrite in this situation because he had he took the moral stance from the beginning just like Rory did. The only difference is that the guy brokeering the deal on his side pulled the rug out from under him at the last minute and was like, just kidding, we're going to take this money. That puts Rory in a position where he is the sacrificial lamb. And people want such a specific response from Rory. They want him to go out there and be like, you guys were right. I'm sorry. It's identical to Trent jumping in and being like, always just take the money. What an idiot I was.
