The Importance of Scale in Machine Learning

In machine learning specifically, we are at a point with this relatively new industry where the ethical concerns we talk about. We don't have the principles well defined enough yet to provide a relatively simple ontology of how it works. And so then when you're trying to build sort of a taxonomy of machine learning algorithm types, you have all these four and it can be very difficult to reconcile where they go in the tree relative to each other.
