Do I Need a Certification to Be an English Teacher?
I wanted to work with something that would allow me to use English every day. Then I found teaching and, you know, I fell in love with it right away. And yeah, my English got so, so much better over the years because I became a teacher. You don't need a proficiency certificate or a teaching certificate to get started. But if you are serious about maybe a, this career path, then down the road, eventually it is beneficial for you to consider a proficiency certification - even a teaching qualification of some sort.
