Quad is something that more and more people are rediscovering, starting to hear of more madules coming out for some quad processing. There was the the two o four a buclamadal, which was like a a quad joy stick kind of mixer. And i think tat jus more options to actually have the players kind of control the sound themselves rather than somebody with some soft ware off to the side doing it for them.
