The Origins of the Property Boom

All things first go from being non-conventional wisdom to conventional wisdom. At the instance at which it becomes accepted collective ideology, society flocks to believe and support in that ideology. In almost all societies, no matter where in the world you are, there is a reverence for the elders. It's not because the elders have lost their ability to innovate or think differently. The elders have been burdened with the responsibility to protect the status quo.
