The Importance of Personalization in Retail

Dan: I think it's really, really interesting how different one retailer can be to the next in terms of customer experience. We're obviously spending a lot of time thinking about how do we bring that same level of personalization to our digital experiences. And so an example of that is something that we call dynamic looks, which are full outfit recommendations and they're based on purchase and browsing history. But we also provide our employees with something called style links, which is a tool that allows them to create looks and then offer those to many customers in more of a one-to-many way. It comes down to getting relevant product and brands at the individual level that come with that extra touch.
