The Right Is Not the Worse Part of the Problem

Right wing critics of neo liberalism and the sort of, the fetihation of individual autonomy above all else are both in economic and a cultural phenomenon. The most serious voices on the right are making substantive critiques of our economic order but they're laced with an understanding of how culture and economics are connected. But i think it's generally a good thing for a society to say something positive about transpeople. And however much the failure in the breach to actually honor and respect transpeople, legally and otherwise happens, that it's still not a bad thing to just recognize their existence, even if we think it's insufficient.
