The Uncertainty Principle and Quantum Gravitational Corrections
If this scenario is true, that you start out near the universe with non-equilibrium, but then things relax and you end up in the state of quantum death. If that state is permanent, if it's going to be like the classical heat death of the universe, once you're there, you're stuck there forever. You can never really confirm that these trajectories really exist because of the uncertainty principle. And the deeper physics is forever inaccessible, and in a sense never be tested.
