The Paths of Development Within Contemporary Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is not just a prefabricated procedure that can be applied, but rather always something individual. The therapeutic process and the development of the psyche take place through the relational experience of emotions that the analysis has in their encounter with the therapist. Today, it is the work in the therapeutic relationship that is understood as the heart of psychoanalytic technique. It is about the inner world in relation to others. Important milestones in this development are the so-called intersubjective, as well as relational psychoanalysis which were conceptualised in the 1990s.
