The Nomads of Iran
The Persians never stopped being nomads. They had ceremonial sites like Persepolis, but they also have cities such as the old site of Babylon. The king and his court travelled constantly between these regional centres. So this is a peripatetic people. When they build in stone at places like Passegard and Persepolis for the first time, they are taking on the influences of the civilizations that they conquered.
