i was an incredibly shy kid. And so i always kind of wonder how this happened, because clearly i had some kind of leadership with the younger kids. It's a much harder one for me, because it's much easier to you know, prepare a beautiful lecture and give it as planned. What i try to shift towards is to work with my students to kind of collectively understand that the more that we actually think in front of each other and communicate  in front of each others' eyes,. "I just think it makes for a much better educational experience," he says.
