The Nuclear Arms Race

Cardinal Joseph Minsinti was the leader of the Catholic Church in Hungary starting in 1945. In World War II he'd been imprisoned by the fascist aero cross party for his opposition to fascism but he was also really opposed to communism. The Soviets had developed drugs or mind control techniques that can make people do things they don't believe they did and this emerged as part of their biological arms race. This is kind of the first new development totally new development and like conceptions of warfare during the early stages of the Cold War on February 3rd 1949.
