Iben Caldoun's Life and Work

Iben caldoun was a judge and teacher in cairo, Egypt. He wrote the first draft of his book without access to any kind of archive or library. In 13 82 he embarked on the pilgrimage that moslems must make at least once in their adult lives if they are physically and financially able. His brother was murdered, probably for political reasons, but the details aren't clear. And iben caldoun himself also had plenty of detractors.
